This bowl is 2 inches high and 13 inches wide and finished with salad bowl finish. It has two shades. The bowl section was oiled and then finished and the rim was just finished (not oiled). Great for a coffee table.

This piece is from the crotch of a flowering maple tree. The black lines are splits that have been sealed with epoxy. It has been finished with 4 coats of salad bowl finish.

This bowl came from the middle of a large salad bowl. It is 8 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches tall with a small natural notch in side.

This plate is 2 inches thick and 14 inches in diameter. It has a small notch on one side. This represents – Mother Natures. It is finished with 4 coats of salad bowl finish. The rim has been dyed with tourquise analine dye. Very nice mantle ornament.

This is from a cap of a Red Mallee tree burl from Australia. I read recently that they can no longer harvest these caps. This piece is 9 inches long.

This natural edge bowl is from wood from Hawaii. It appears to be oval but is round. If you raise the sides to the height of the long side it would be round. It is finished with 4 coats of salad bowl finish. Great display dish, nut dish or nice to look at on a coffee table.

This vase is 15 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It has a two inch drilled hole for dried flowers or twisted sticks. Very nice mantle ornament or floor ornament.
Wood has a soft feeling to it.

#0121 Handcrafted Maple Burled Hollow Form

This 4in x 5in hollow form is made from the burl of a Maple tree. It is used as a decorative piece.
The walls of the piece are approximately 1/8in thick. Special tools are used to remove the wood.
It is finished with five coats of Salad Bowl Finish and then waxed.
